Samsung unveiled its latest line of foldables at its Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris.
Samsung unveiled the latest generation of its foldable smartphones — the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 — at its Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris on Wednesday, 10 July 2024.
They also feature live translations for calls that are processed on-device and not stored in any cloud format, eliminating privacy concerns. Galaxy AI also brings new photography features, including instant slow-mo for videos, even if they weren’t recorded on the device. These include image suggestions, such as eliminating reflections, remastering photos, and adding visual effects.For example, users can select an object in a photo they have captured and erase, move, or resize it. Galaxy AI will then generate pixels to fill in the blank space.
It features a 50MP primary shooter and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, whereas the previous generation had two 12MP camera sensors.Both pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which enables the inclusion of Galaxy AI for these devices.
