EastEnders' Sam Womack 'supports nurses strike even if it interferes with cancer treatment'
Former EastEnders star Samantha Womack has said that she is backing the nurses strike, and would have done so even if it had interfered with her own cancer treatment.
Speaking to presenters Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray, she discussed her treatment and insisted that nurses have every right to strike as they haven't been treated fairly. "I was just having a random check, I was just doing a well-woman check and in between two shows I popped in to have an ultrasound, just a scan," she said.
