The 26-year-old is currently on his Thrill of it All tour which includes two concerts in Johannesburg and three in Cape Town.

In a post on Monday on Instagram Smith said he was experiencing a lot of anxiety and shared a video of a local fan singing along to one of his songs, which he said helped to cheer him up."My anxiety has been really intense the last few days and my friend sent me this video and it has cheered me up so much!! Whoever you are, I wish we could’ve met last night!! You are wonderful xx thank you for coming to the show", said Smith.
