The Outlander star was at Waterstones in Glasgow today
Sam Heughan, who rose to fame for his role in smash-hit Outlander, was in Glasgow today for a book signing with fans.
The 42-year-old appeared at the Waterstones branch on Sauchiehall Street to sign copies of his new book Waypoint, which details his rise to the silver screen. Instead of receiving gifts from fans, the actor and his publisher Radar books had instead asked for donations to be made for those in need this Christmas, with all donations going to The Trussel Trust Glasgow SE foodbank.The publisher took to twitter to thank fans, and said: "Really blown away by the generosity - thank you everyone who came out today."
Waterstones also posted a thanks on social media, saying: "We would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone that brought along donations with them for the Trussel Trust Glasgow SE Foodbank at our signing with Sam Heughan today."
