Chloe Vose's forged sick note was 'deliberate' and 'dishonest' says Chief Constable Stephen Watson.
A "deceitful" police officer who forged a GP note for extra sick leave would have been sacked had she not already resigned, a chief constable has said.
Three days after she stated she was unwell and would not be returning to work, she created and provided a fraudulent letter purporting to be from her GP to extend her leave of absence, the hearing was told. In dismissing her, Chief Constable Stephen Watson said: "PC Vose has conducted herself throughout this process to... meet the needs of her own selfish desires.
