Sainsbury's shoppers slam new rule every customer must do before exiting
Shoppers have hit out at supermarket giant Sainsbury's after it launched a new rule in stores, which requires customers to scan their receipt before they leave. As part of the change, shoppers now have to show proof of purchase by getting their receipt checked at new scanners at self checkout tills.
Some have described the system as an 'insult' - feeling as though Sainsbury's no longer trusts them. While people who tend to not get their receipts printed out were particularly angered.@The_Tw4tter tweeted: "I'd be b***ered. I've never once hit the "receipt" button on the self-service till.
