Addressing the media after the game, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi said they unconditionally apologized to the people of Botswana, all South Africans, CAF and Fifa for what transpired. All parties accept that there is a need to apologise for the embarrassment that has been caused. We have also agreed to a seizure of all hostilities and go back to the negotiations table.The drama began unfolding on Sunday when the players raised issues relating to their bonuses as well as the quality of the opposition and the Tsakane Stadium pitch.
