SABC, Themba Sibeko in R15m copyright dispute
Themba Sibeko said that he shared the concept with the SABC in 2012 with the aim of securing an agreement to produce and air the programme.The SABC is embroiled in a copyright infringement scandal over the airing of the reality television series A Cut Above The Rest, following allegations by Cape Town-based businessman Themba Sibeko that the concept of the show had been hijacked from him after he pitched the idea to the public broadcaster over 10 years ago.
