South Africa’s confirmed Covid-19 cases have risen to 34 357, with 22 more deaths, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said on Monday.

This takes the country’s Covid-19 coronavirus death toll to 705, with all 22 of the new victims resident in the Western Cape.

The Western Cape continued to have the most cases in the country, with almost two-thirds of the total, followed by the Eastern Cape, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
