The event was held on Friday in Sandton, where a panel of experts and scientists engaged in a discussion about how South Africa should prepare a better response to a future pandemic.
“The health system must be strong, and the Covid-19 pandemic really exposed our vulnerabilities in terms of the weaknesses that we have. “The question now is how we then strengthen the health system so that, should the next pandemic come, we are better, even though we can never be 100%.
