“We’ve got a situation where the most vulnerable people in our society live from hand to mouth on a daily basis and whilst they’re under lockdown at least, they’re not able to get their daily wage so food security is a real problem at this particular moment.”has pledged R1 billion in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in South Africa.
The Motsepe Foundation joined other South African business bodies and lobby groups who have pledged to work with government in the fight against the pandemic.
