Rating agency S&P has revised Eskom's outlook to stable from negative and also affirmed the power utility's credit rating.
The decision comes after Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni announced in his budget speech that the struggling power utility will receive a support package from government totalling R69-billion.But at a rating of CCC PLUS, the power utility is still viewed as a risk.
