Ryanair will now charge between £20 and £60 to add a cabin bag a flight after booking
Ryanair has amended its cabin bag fee structure for those looking to fly with a larger carry-on bag. Those travelling with the budget airline must pay extra for priority boarding if they want to bring a 10kg suitcase on board.
When contacted for comment on the apparent price increase, Ryanair highlighted this part of its baggage policy: "Fee varies depending on the route and travel dates selected. Some Ryanair passengers have taken to social media to complain about Ryanair's extra fees, which are charged for services like checking in at the airport instead of online, print a boarding card at the airport or sitting next to friends and family on the flight.
