Jamie was fined a few days after the bay was installed
A man from Rutherglen has slammed South Lanarkshire Council after he received a fine for parking in his own disabled bay outside his home and the local authority rejected his appeal.
The bay was later installed in November, but he received a fine a few days later for parking in it, reports Lanarkshire Live. The 31-year-old appealed the fine but it was rejected. Jamie said: “I had taken my blue badge with me when I was travelling in my dad’s car to go to a hospital appointment, due to how difficult it can be getting parked there.
