Ruth is set to open up about her split from her partner of 27 years Ruth Langsford looks set to open up about her divorce from Eamonn Holmes next week on Loose Women. On May 25, Ruth, 64, and Eamonn, 64, revealed they were parting ways after 27 years together. A spokesperson confirmed at the time: ‘Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.
‘She will be surrounded by the people she’s closest to on the show and then will be drawing a line under it… she has no plans to do a big interview, this will be the one and only time she speaks.’ Since the split was announced, Eamonn has spoken about their split on GB News. ‘I’d just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation,’ he said in May, soon after the split was revealed.
