Rutgers guard Paul Mulcahy announced his future plans on Thursday.
“We are thrilled for Paul to explore the opportunity of declaring for the 2023 NBA Draft,” Rutgers coach Steve Pikiell said. “Paul has become one of the all-time winners on and off of the basketball court at Rutgers and we will support him and his family through this exciting journey.”as he dealt with a nagging shoulder injury that he sustained in November. He averaged 8.3 points on a career-low 41.6% shooting while dishing 4.9 assists to two turnovers and forcing 1.5 steals.
Mulcahy had his best year statistically as a junior, averaging a career high in scoring , assists , rebounds and free throw shooting percentage . He carried Rutgers during a historic February, having
