A Moscow court said Thursday that it would hear an appeal from the lawyers of Evan Gershkovich,The Wall Street Journal vehemently denies the allegation against Mr. Gershkovich. Its lawyers challenged his detention. The Moscow City Court said it would hear the appeal April 18., order him moved to another jail, allow him house arrest or grant him bail. A spokeswoman for the Journal declined to comment on any specific requests Mr. Gershkovich’s lawyers made regarding his detention.
