Oil prices — which have brushed $130 in recent trading — edged up but remained well-below recent highs, with Brent crude, the international oil benchmark, creeping up 0.7 percent to trade around $110 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude, the U.S. oil benchmark, gained about 0.5 percent to trade around $106.50 per barrel.
