Completing the famous course once is a big enough challenge but this year was Simon's third consecutive time, helping raise almost £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

RACE DAY: Simon Robinson at the finish line of the London Marathon 2023

This is the third consecutive time Simon has tackled the race to raise money for the charity and this year follows the company's fundraising efforts for Macmillan which raised £68,000 and £100,000 respectively. Macmillan provides practical, financial and emotional support to those living with cancer throughout the UK, a topic that’s close to Simon and his colleagues.

Kate Goldman-Toomey, director of corporate partnerships and philanthropy at Macmillan Cancer Support, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to all the Toolstation runners like Simon who took on the London Marathon to raise vital funds for Macmillan and were cheering them on from our Macmillan cheer points. They should be very proud of the commitment and effort they’ve shown for the big race.
