PSL veteran Kermit Erasmus could return to the Mother City after his departure from Orlando Pirates was sealed last week.
believes Cape Town City is angling for a reunion with former striker Kermit Erasmus ahead of 2024-2025. The veteran spent the last two campaigns with Orlando Pirates in his second stint with the Sea Robbers. That followed a spell with Mamelodi Sundowns. The former Bafana Bafana man is being linked with a return to the Mother City but their sources understand that the 33-year-old is in favour of staying in Gauteng.
“Because of family reasons, he prefers to remain in Gauteng but he’s not ruling out a move to Cape Town if nothing concrete comes along. “Given Mabasa’s rich goal-scoring form this season, it is no surprise that he is the subject of widespread interest, particularly from Saudi Arabia.
