There are signs that the eleventh-hour court bids to block Misuzulu kaZwelithini being crowned as the new monarch of the amaZulu were the last kicks of a dying horse.
Misuzulu faces a number of challenges. According to Zakhele Ndlovu, a senior political science lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Misuzulu will have to assert his authority as the new king.
