Royal agenda for Tuesday including Queen's Buckingham Palace return and King's tour
The emotional journey of the Queen's coffin from Balmoral, where Her Majesty died aged 96 last Thursday, to Buckingham Palace will continue on Tuesday 13 September.
It will be accompanied by Anne, the Princess Royal and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence as it is flown to RAF Northolt in Ruislip, north-west London. Its route will be via the A40, Eastbourne Terrace, Lancaster Gate, Bayswater Road, Marble Arch, Park Lane, Hyde Park Corner and Constitution Hill.Details about the route for the lying-in-state queue will be provided late on Tuesday for those wanting to visit to pay their respects.
The King will then meet Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris and party leaders, and receive a message of condolence led by the Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
