The flight departing from Manchester Airport was delayed for an hour

Multiple passengers onboard a Ryanair flight were kicked off the aircraft after getting ''drunk'' and reportedly smoking on board. The aircraft was set to depart from Manchester Airport and arrive at Marrakech, Morocco at around 6am on Saturday, September 17.

Ryanair staff required police assistance to eliminate all of the 'disruptive' passengers before setting off, the Liverpool Echo reports. Eyewitness passengers said the rowdy bunch were smoking on board, taking Snapchat selfies and yelling ''Big up Scarborough. Who's from Scarborough?'' As a result, the flight was delayed for nearly an hour while staff removed the disorderly group and all of their belongings. One passenger told Manchester Evening News: "Flight at Mcr Airport to Marrakech delayed due to drunken women from Scarborough on board smoking and shouting. Thrown off - flight delayed while they look for luggage.

"They were taking selfies and putting them on Snapchat shouting 'big up Scarborough. Who's from Scarborough' across the whole plane." A spokesperson for Ryanair confirmed the flight was able to depart Manchester Airport with a delay of just under an hour, before safely arriving in Marrakesh. These passengers were removed from the aircraft before it departed safely for Marrakech following a minor delay of 55mins."
