Academy Sports + Outdoors said the event took place at 11 a.m. in the Academy located at 1315 North 35 IH-35 frontage road. A Round Rock local father was surprised with a shopping spree ahead of Father's Day, worth a total of $500 dollars to shop for new shoes, clothes, fishing gear, and more. The father surprised was accompanied by his son and Express mascot Spike. The dad is a devoted role model in the community of Round Rock.
