“There are lot of guys that gutted that game out and helped us perform as well as we did in the first half,” Fajardo added. “We knew that a four-quarter game was going to be tough and those guys hadn’t eaten since we left from Regina. So it was it was pretty bad in there and I’m just proud of the way the guys continued to work.”
Fajardo and Fine are roommates on the road. Fajardo said the team made him switch rooms after Fine became ill.
