The Saskatchewan Roughriders cancelled their practice Wednesday after six additional players tested positive for COVID-19.
The Roughriders are scheduled to host the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday.
The team said no decision has been made on whether the game or practices later this week will go forward. The Roughriders announced Monday that “several members” of the team tested positive for the novel coronavirus after the team’s 30-24 loss to Toronto in the Touchdown Atlantic game last weekend in Halifax.The CFL has not had to postpone a game yet this season due to COVID-19.
