The Rossendale 60s Festival 2023 encourages groups, venues and organisations throughout the Valley to stage 60s themed events
A programme of events for people to enjoy throughout the The Rossendale 60s Festival has been announced.
The event is a collaboration with Rossendale Radio, who will be presenting the event on the day and promoting it through their station and social media.
l TESCO Haslingden will be host to the Sounds of the 60s launch event from 1-3pm to get the weekend started.l St Mary’s Chambers will be hosting Ben Thompson as Elvis Presleyl The Shepherds Inn in Rawtenstall will be hosting the band Corporation Pop who will be playing 60s tunesl The Firepit in Rawtenstall will be providing live 60s musicSaturday, September 9
The local Scouts will also be offering 60s face painting and we now have our official photographers booked... Trevor Elkington and his ‘Jpeg’ group. There will be two original 60s single decker buses that used to run routes from Rawtenstall l The Firepit in Rawtenstall will be host to J Bear and the Giants playing 60s hits with staff in 60s gear
