In the video, the senator is seen wearing a hot dog hat while walking down a hallway in the Capitol building with a hot dog in hand, complete with a ketchup drizzle. Romney was referring to news coverage in 2018 that revealed his favorite meat is a hot dog, and his second favorite is a hamburger. The comment was made at a campaign dinner ahead of his election to the Senate.
