CLEVELAND — Anyone might have been able to find the Cavaliers’ Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley stationed in the lane, as reliably in position as Buckingham Palace guards. Rockets guard Jalen Green, however, had spent the season with like-minded defenders determined to as zealously protect the rim.
There were other finishes inside, one on a drive before Mobley could get there. But for most of the night, Green was forced to show what he added to his game, rather than what he does best. “That’s a good question,” he said. “Yeah, with more room he would be able to do some more stuff. But he’s figuring it out under some really tough circumstances. When it becomes easier, the sky’s the limit.”
