The 82-foot tall, 50-foot in diameter, approximately 14-ton Norway Spruce that will be the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree for the 2022-2023 season will be cut down and hoisted by a crane onto a 115-foot long trailer on Thursday, Nov. 10.

The 82-foot tall, 50-foot in diameter, approximately 14-ton Norway Spruce that will be the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree for the 2022-2023 season will be cut down and hoisted by a crane onto a 115-foot long trailer on Thursday, Nov. 10 in Queensbury in Upstate New York. This year’s tree is being donated by The Lebowitz Family of Glens Falls, NY. The tree will make the over 200-mile journey by flatbed truck to Manhattan and arrive on Saturday, Nov. 12 where it will be erected at Rockefeller Center.
