The Rock Hall opened its 2023 Inductee Exhibit on Thursday, featuring artifacts from all of the inductees, including one of Willie Nelson's signature bandanas, instruments from Rage Against The Machine and more.
One of the stop animation sets from Rock Hall inductee Kate Bush's "Misty" video is on display as part of the 2023 Inductee exhibit.The exhibit features artifacts and cool stuff associated with this year’s inductees, including Performers Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners.
Musical Excellence inductees Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Bernie Taupin are also represented along with Musical Influence winners DJ Kool Herc and guitarist Link Wray, and Ahmet Ertegun Award winner ‘Soul Train’ creator Don Cornelius. Artifacts include Bernie Taupin’s original lyrics to “Your Song”; the famed headpiece from Missy Elliott’s “The Rain ” video; George Michael’s police uniform from 25 Live tour performances of “Outside”; Kate Bush’s stop animation set from the “Misty” video and one of Willie Nelson’s signature bandanas and more.
The 38th Rock Hall induction ceremony is happening on Friday, November 3, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets are still available atOver the last few weeks, several performers and presenters have been announced for the ceremony. The Rock Hall has confirmed that inductees Crow, Elliott, Khan and Nelson will perform at the ceremony.
Also in the confirmed lineup of performers and presenters: Stevie Nicks, Elton John, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Brandi Carlile, Dave Matthews, H.E.R., Chris Stapleton, St. Vincent, New Edition, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, Carrie Underwood, Common, Ice-T, singer Miguel and Sia.on Friday, Nov. 3.
