'Million Dollar Quartet' and 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' to hit Sault stage next year
Music fans, take note. West End Theatre Project has announced two shows for next year, one featuring old time rock ‘n’ roll and the other belting out dance floor hits.
The second season will feature two hit shows, as well as a cabaret series set to launch in mid to late 2023, the theatre project said in a news release.Inspired by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins, the Tony Award-nominated musical is set on Dec. 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brings Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever.
Based on the hit movie, this musical is a heartwarming adventure of three friends, Tick, Bernadette and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback.
