Robbie Fowler feels the Whites must invest heavily in the summer transfer market if they clinch promotion to the Premier League
Leeds United must strenghten dramatically over the summer should they win promotion to the Premier League or run the risk of suffering the same fate as Burnley, Luton Town and Sheffield United.
Fowler insists it's only realistic to argue that the current Leeds squad won't be strong enough to deal with the rigours of the Premier League and, should they beat Southampton in Sunday's play-off final at Wembley, Daniel Farke and Co will need to spend in the summer transfer market. "If you don't spend money when you go up from the Championship, you go straight back down. Look at the teams at the bottom of the Premier League this year - Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton - three teams that got promoted. None of them spent an absolute fortune.
