Rob Gronkowski is getting ready to return to the field. But it’s not what you think.
The four-time Super Bowl champion“Count me in already,” Gronkowski told the outlet.“Hopefully there’s no tryouts and they just accept me,” Gronkowski, the five-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro, said. “But I’m in. I’m going for that if there is flag football in the Olympics in 2028. USA going all the way.”
Gronkowski, who initially retired after the 2018 season following a nine-year run with the Patriots, will be 39 by the time the 2028 Summer Olympics begin. “With flag football you are avoiding some of the challenges with injuries that American football is facing,” he said.
