Here are the planned roadworks and disruptions from National Highways this week
Not only are more people back on the roads, but there are also some delays due to planned roadworks taking place. This includes resurfacing and roadworks for sign installations carried out by National Highways.
This will be to set up the roadworks with the signs and road markings, as well as lane closures on the both eastbound and westbound carriageways. Overnight traffic lights will occasionally be in place between 8pm and 6am, to hold road users at roadworks before staff can safely escort drivers through under convoy.Resurfacing work will also take places on the section of the A595 near Egremont. Drainage repairs will also be in place to reduce flooding on the A595 near Iron Bridge junction, Cumbria.
These have been rescheduled to take place from Sunday 17, until Tuesday 19 between 8pm and 6am each night. This is to repair the road surface on the A66 between Sandford junction and Brough junction.
