The bridge will be shut until September.

Schoolhouse Bridge in Long Lane, Crickheath crosses a section of the Montgomery Canal which is being restored in a major project.

Traffic will be prohibited from using Schoolhouse Bridge between March 20 and September 30 to allow the reconstruction of a bridge over the canal.The restoration will eventually see the waterway restored between Newtown and the junction with the Llangollen Canal at Lower Frankton near Ellesmere.
