'Riverdale' actress Lili Reinhart (lilireinhart) is set to star in AmazonStudios' forthcoming teen romance film 'Chemical Hearts.'
from author Krystal Sutherland. The book and subsequent film tells the tale of a 17-year-old high school newspaper editor who has never been in love, and realizes that’s all going to change when he meets a new transfer student on the first day of school.
Reinhart is slated to portray the high school transfer student, and will also serve as an executive producer for the first time in her career. Page Fifty-Four’s Alex Saks will also executive producer along with Richard Tanne . Tanne will also direct the film from his own adapted script. “We are thrilled to work with this talented team to bring to life a beautiful story of first love and heartbreak,” Julie Rapaport, co-head of movies at Amazon Studios, said via. “Krystal Sutherland’s novel captured the hearts of readers around the world, and we are excited to bring this film to our global Prime Video customers.”series, as well as her roles in indie films
