Police Scotland's air unit says a drone would be used to assist in the ongoing search.
A search is continuing for a missing woman after a man was rescued from the River Kelvin in Glasgow. A major rescue operation was launched after the alarm was raised over two people in the water at around 5.45pm on Wednesday. Police and fire crews were spotted using rubber dinghies in the search in the city's west end. A helicopter also assisted. A man was rescued by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
