The fledgling party will hold an event in Durban on Thursday, with a focus on policy
Rise Mzansi, one of the country’s new political parties set to contest elections for the first time during next year’s polls, has launched a mobilisation campaign in KwaZulu-Natal.
In recent months, Hlongwane-Mhlongo and her team have been criss-crossing the province in a drive to drum up support ahead of next year’s polls. On Thursday, the party will hold a policy discussion event in Durban. Rise Mzansi says it aims to build a “free, equal, safe, happy, and prosperous society where everyone can live a happy and a dignified life”.
