The ringgit is likely to maintain its tight range of RM4.54 to RM4.56 against the US dollar this week.
Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd chief economist and social finance head Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said the US non-farm payrolls report would set the tone for the US dollar this week.
“On that note, the US consumer price index will be reported this week and thus far we have seen inflation rate continuing to moderate to 3% in June 2023 after reaching 9.1% in June 2022,” he told Bernama.
