After the Crushers opened the scoring, the Caps took a 3-1 lead into the first intermission and led 5-3 at the end of 40 minutes. The Crushers answered with two goals in the first half of the third period to even the score. Ed McNeill , Landon Clow , MacDougall, Sam Campbell, and Max Chisholm earned assists for the Capitals, who improved to 16-8-1-0 .Lucas Parsons of Stratford, P.E.I., scored twice and added an assist to lead the Crushers . Nick Mahar , Bryson Boudreau and Ben Mercer also scored for the Crushers. James Harrison, Camden MacKenzie, Kiefer Avery, and Riley Seymour set up the goals.

Overall, the Crushers outshot the Capitals 35-27, including a 13-7 advantage in the third period. Winning goaltender Chad Arsenault stopped 30 shots. Pictou County starter Jeremy Robar gave up three goals on six shots in 15:06 of action, and Kenzie MacPhail stopped 18 of 21 shots the rest of the way.1. Marc Richard , 2. Lucas Parsons , 3.
