REVIEW: Spirit of Praise 10 perfectly celebrates a decade of excellence
About two weeks ago, I could not keep my mouth shut when the star-studded gospel collective, Spirit of Praise, released Asikho Isikhali by Dumi Mkokstad and Kgoši ya Rena by Mmatema Gavu.
I cannot believe it has been a full 10 years since gospel musicians were brought together to create the magic that is He must know that even though he may not excel at soccer, he is our favourite in music. Our own Mr “ima woo” is up there with Gavu, Dube, Sindi Ntombela, Takie Ndou, Xolisa Kwinana, Oncemore Six, Ayanda Ntanzi, Sipho Ngwenya among other artists.
He always delivers, and how he did not disappoint on Spirit Of Praise 10. On that note, a big shout out to all the backup vocalists, the instrumentalists, production and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the magic happen.
