“Much like the hotels, like in a lot of other jurisdictions, the food and beverage side is performing very strongly,” McCrea said. The apartments have been full since shortly after the complex opened and the office space is “essentially full,” with some retail shops like clothing stores and gift shops still to come.
“It’s difficult for me to focus on how it’s being received by the public; that’s for them to opine on. Like your kid, I’m too close to it. I think my child is wonderful always, so it’s difficult for me to opine on how it’s being received by the public. All I know is it’s my child, I’d like it to do well and it’s getting all my energy and attention.
