The municipality announced the deal that will see the Glamour Boys play three of their home DStv Premiership matches at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.According to various reports Amakhosi might be making up to R3 million per game from the said deal.

"There's an amount involved, unfortunately, I would like Kaizer Chiefs to disclose that because they are the primary party. "For us as a municipality, we look at different areas where we add value to our local economy, mainly covering our tourism industry.
