Cathie Wood’s much-watched fund may be poised to regain popularity

Domestic equity funds and ETFs posted a total of $151.3 billion in outflows year to date through June 7th, according to data from trade group the Investment Company Institute. Still, the recent broadening of the equity market’s rally this year out of a handful of megacap stocks could mean investors will eventually give Cathie Wood’s flagship fund another look, said Virag Shah, portfolio strategist at Van Leeuwen & Company.
“Once you see the market concentration broadening out, we think you will see the investor flows follow,” potentially sending more investors into ARK, Shah said.
