Basford residents say it's very "convenient" and "handy" living next to a NET tram stop - which can get quite noisy at times. Neighbours on Shipstone Street and Gladstone Street have shared why they love living next to the Shipstone Street Tram Stop.
"Many people from here usually use the tram." Al Suam uses the tram "very often" and explained that it's not a bother to have nearby and doesn't really affect him.When asked her views on living so close to the tram stop, Basford resident, Katherine Wilkinson, 52, said: "It doesn't really bother us.
She added that she uses the tram "everyday." Care worker, William Vitkovitch, 41, has lived close to the tram stop for more than 10 years. "Shipstone Street is the way back from town and then down the road is the tram towards town, so it is very helpful. Especially when I'm not driving and the weather is too bad to cycle and things."
