A community has revealed their fears over speeding after a 12-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle in Glasgow today.
Locals at the scene said they are not surprised another accident has happened on the notorious road, which previously claimed a young life.Just three years ago, Sophie Geddes, 16, passed away after being struck by a motor on the same road at the junction with Garscadden Road. Following Sophie's death, calls were made for action to be taken about speeding drivers on the street after a string of incidents.The incident is just the latest in the city involving pedestrians being hit by vehicles.
