Republican SenatorTimScott hammers Biden amid 2024 rumors: 'We need a change in leadership'
Sen. Tim Scott called for"new leadership" ahead of President Joe Biden's State of the Union address Tuesday, saying that Biden will brush over problems that ordinary people see with their own eyes in his speech.
Scott slammed Biden's hesitation to take out the Chinese spy balloon as well, calling it a"dereliction of duty." He said the slow action from Biden's administration"imperils people throughout the world." "One of the things when you have weakness on the global stage, and Biden has presented weakness, not strength. ... This is another indication that China assumes that he is weak," Scott said.
"Absolutely not," he said."It was literally a dereliction of duty to wait six, seven days before he acted. That is not in the American people's best interest."
