ESPN reported that Baker"has long been unhappy with his situation this offseason." Insider Adam Schefter reported that Baker informed the Cardinals two months ago that he wanted to be traded or be given a new contract to make him the NFL's highest paid safety.. Derwin James of the Los Angeles Chargers is the highest paid safety, his salary with an average annual value of $19 million.
