Three European giants are reportedly planning to revive the controversial European Super League, which had collapsed last year. SLInt 😳 MORE:
Shockwaves were sent throughout Europe in April last year after 12 football clubs announced their decision to join the Super League.
Plans for the tournament did not last long, as six Premier League clubs initially pulled out after the backlash from supporters and former players. AC Milan and Inter Milan also followed their English counter-parts, although the Premier League clubs were fined by the league for their involvement. However, the Telegraph have reported the three remaining teams Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus are planning to revive the tournament which was founded after the growing discontent towards UEFA and how they run their competitions.
The report claims that Juventus president Andrea Agnelli is set to speak on Thursday to unveil new plans, which includes introducing domestic league qualification.
